Abstract

Ljudi koriste svoj glas svakodnevno u različitim situacijama. Glas je osnovno sredstvo komunikacije i time je njegova važnost neupitna. Cilj ovog istraživanja je dokazati postoji li promjena u kvaliteti glasa kod odgajateljica u analiziranim parametrima na početku i na kraju radnog dana, te utvrditi postoje li statistički značajna razlika između ta dva mjerenja. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo deset odgajateljica dječjeg vrtića Duga u Zagrebu. Za potrebe istraživanja, odgajateljice su ispunile Upitnik o prehrambenim navikama, godinama radnog staža, konzumiranju duhanskih proizvoda, prijašnjim poteškoćama s glasom, te Upitnik o vokalnom zamoru koji je kreiran za potrebe istraživanja. Digitalnim snimačem snimila sam fonacija vokala /a/ (3 ponavljanja) i brojanje od jedan do deset, na početku i na kraju radnog dana. Odgajateljice koje se bave nekim sportom (fitnesom ili jogom) pravilnije dišu, bolje koriste svoj glas, te im je gas izdržljiviji. Većina odgajateljica konzumira više kava i duhanskih proizvoda tijekom dana što doprinosi lošijoj kvaliteti glasa. Mali broj odgajateljica konzumira vodu tijekom radnog dana, eventualno jednom ili dva puta tijekom dana, što je premalo s obzirom na količinu korištenja glasa. Mnoge odgajateljice nisu ni svjesne važnosti hidratacije glasnica, vokalne higijene i očuvanja glasa. Statistička obrada nije pokazala postojanje statistički značajnih razlika u promatranim varijablama na početku i na kraju radnog vremena. Analizom odgovora iz Upitnika vokalnog zamora vidljivo je kako je većina simptoma ponekad prisutna kod gotovo svih odgajateljica, te je analizom potvrđeno postojanje značajnih korelacija između varijabli Upitnika, kao i navika odgajateljica i simtpoma vokalnog zamora. Ovo istraživanje naglašava važnost podizanja svijesti o očuvanju glasa unutar skupine vokalnih profesionalaca – odgajateljica.

Abstract (english)

People use their voice every day to interact with their surroundings. With all the present technology, their voices are still the most important and necessary means of communication. The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is a change in the voice quality of the preschool teachers in the analyzed parameters at the beginning and end of the working day, and to determine whether there are statistically significant differences between the two measurements. Ten preschool teachers of the Duga kindergarten in Zagreb, participated in the research. For research purposes, the preschool teachers filled out a questionnaire on eating habits, years of service, smoking, voice problems, and Vocal FatigueQuestionnairewhich is designed for the research. With a digital recorder, I recorded the vocal phonation /a/ and counting from one to ten, at the beginning and at the end of the working day. Preschool teachers who are practicing some sports (fitness or yoga)have better breathing capacities. Their voices are more durable and stronger. Most preschool teachers consume more than one coffee and cigarette during the day, which contributes to poor quality of voice. A small number of educators consume water during the working day, possibly only once or twice during the day, which is too low in terms of voice use. Many preschool teachers are completely unaware of the importance of vocal hygiene and voice preservation. Results after statistical analysis did not show statistically significant differences between the variables before and after the work. Analyzing the answers of the Vocal Fatigue Questionnaire it is evident that almost all preschool teachers sometimes feel some of the vocal fatigue symptoms. Analysis confirmed the existence of significant correlations between the Questionnaire variables, as well as with some life habits and symptoms of vocal fatiguesmoking for example. This research emphasizes the importance of raising awareness of the preservation of voice within a group of preschool teachers.
