Abstract

Multipla skleroza (MS) je kronična upalna demijelinizacijska bolest središnjeg živčanog sustava, koja je karakterizirana brojnim upalnim područjima s demijelinizacijom i gliozom. Za razliku od drugih neuroloških bolesti, multipla skleroza je dinamičan proces poglavito kod onih osoba koje su sklone relapsima. Stoga rehabilitacija kod osoba s multiplom sklerozom nije vremenski ograničen proces već iziskuje dugotrajni angažman. Cilj ovog istraživanja je pomoći osobi s multiplom sklerozom u poboljšanju kvalitete života, poboljšanjem motoričkog funkcioniranja i emocionalnog stanja kroz vježbe relaksacije, vježbe reedukacije psihomotorike i vježbe fine motorike i grafomotorike. Individualni edukacijsko-rehabilitacijski program provodio se s ispitanicom oboljelom od multiple skleroze, u KBC Osijek, a kasnije u njezinom roditeljskom domu. Provedeno je ukupno 26 seansi u trajanju od 60min. Prilikom provođenja ovog programa naglasak je bio na poticanju suradljivosti, zainteresiranosti i motivacije same osobe, te osjećaju ugode i zadovoljstva. Instrumenti procjene korišteni za potrebe ovog istraživanja su Procjena organiziranosti psihomotorike, Procjena praksičke organiziranosti, Test reprodukcije modela štapićima i manualni mišićni test. Za procjenu psihičkog stanja osobe koristila se Beckova skala depresivnosti, te Skala depresivnosti, anksioznosti i stresa (DASS21-Ž). Na početku i na kraju svake seanse koristila se VAS skala samoprocjene. Rezultatima dobivenim ovim istraživanjem potvrđuje se polazna hipoteza da će edukacijsko-rehabilitacijski program dovesti do poboljšanja psihomotorike u svim varijablama procjene. Ispitanica je ostvarila napredak na području grube motorike, praksije, fine motorike i grafomotorike. Značajno su se smanjili i simptomi depresije i anksioznosti, dok je najveći napredak ostvaren na domeni stresa. Ovim istraživanjem se može zaključiti da je primjena edukacijsko-rehabilitacijskog programa temeljenog na reedukaciji psihomotorike i metodama relaksacije učinkovita za primjenu kod osoba s multiplom sklerozom

Abstract (english)

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, characterized by numerous inflammatory areas with demyelination and gliozoma. Unlike other neurological diseases, multiple sclerosis is a dynamic process especially in people in which relapses are often. Therefore, rehabilitation in people with multiple sclerosis is not a time-limited process but requires long-term engagement. The aim of this study is to help a person with multiple sclerosis to improve the quality of life, improve the motor function and emotional state through relaxation exercises, reeducation of psychomotor skills exercises and fine motor and graphomotor skills exercises. An individual educational and rehabilitation program was implemented in a multiple sclerosis patient, at KBC Osijek, and later in her parenting home. There were 26 sessions lasting 60 minutes. During the implementation of this program, the emphasis was on encouraging the compliance, interest and motivation of the person, and feeling of pleasure and satisfaction. The assessment tools used for the purpose of this research are Assessment of Psychomotor Organisation, Praxia organisation Assessment, Stick Test and Manual Muscle Testing. Assessment of psychological condition was made with Beck's Depression Inventory and DASS Scale. At the beginning and at the end of each session was used VAS self-assessment scale. The results of this research confirm the initial hypothesis that the educational and rehabilitation program will lead to improvements in psychomotor skills in all variables of assessment. The examinee has made progress in the field of gross motor skills, praxia, fine motor skills and graphomotor skills. The symptoms of depression and anxiety were reduced, while the greatest progress was made on the stress domain. This research suggests that the application of an educational and rehabilitation program based on reeducation of psychomotor skills and relaxation methods is effective for use in people with multiple sclerosis.
