Abstract

Igra doprinosi cjelokupnom razvoju djeteta i ima važnu ulogu u djetinjstvu svakog djeteta.
Cilj rada je bio ispitati obilježja igre djece jasličke dobi (2-3 godine) tipičnog razvoja te postojanje mogućih razlika između dječaka i djevojčica u pojedinim obilježjima igre. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo tridesetero djece, 17 dječaka i 13 djevojčica. Podaci su se prikupljali pomoću izrađenog protokola promatranja kroz promatranje spontane igre djece u vrtićkim skupinama u trajanju od sat vremena za svako dijete. Rezultati su pokazali kako su se djeca jasličke dobi igrala sama prosječno 16,7 minuta. U funkcionalnoj igri su provela u prosjeku 17,1 minutu. Promatrano dijete je, u prosjeku, tijekom sat vremena iniciralo igru s drugom djecom 7 puta. Najčešći načini iniciranja igre bili su kontakt očima te kombinacije komunikacijskih sredstava. U kontekstu socijalne uključenosti, djeca jasličke dobi su provela u prosjeku 19,4 minute u usporednoj igri. Povezujuća igra je bila zastupljena u manjoj mjeri, u prosjeku 4,8 minuta. Tijekom igre su koristila prosječno 6,7 različitih igračaka. Djeca jasličke dobi su tijekom igre i drugih aktivnosti prosječno proizvela pet puta više deklarativnih iskaza nego imperativnih iskaza. Statistički značajna razlika između dječaka i djevojčica je pronađena u konstruktivnoj igri (p<0,05), u kojoj su djevojčice provele više vremena nego dječaci. Dobiveni podaci prikazuju glavna obilježja spontane igre djece u ranoj dobi te mogu pridonijeti oblikovanju programa predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja.

Abstract (english)

Play contributes to the overall development of a child and has an important role in childhood.
The aim of the study was to examine the spontaneous play of typically developing toddlers (2-3 years) and the existance of possible differences between boys and girls in some characteristics of play. The study included 30 children, 17 boys and 13 girls. Data were collected using a designed protocol of observation through the observation of spontaneous play of toddlers in kindergarten groups for an hour for each child. The results showed that toddlers played alone on average 16,7 minutes. They spent on average 17,1 minutes in the functional play. The observed child initiated play with other children on average 7 times during an hour. The most common ways to initiate the play were eye contact and a combinations of communicative means. In the context of social participation, toddlers spent on average 19,4 minutes in the parallel play. The associative play was represented to a lesser extent, on average 4,8 minutes. They used on average 6,7 different toys during the play.
During the play and other activities, toddlers produced on average five times more declarative statements than imperative statements. A statistically significant difference between boys and girls was found in the constructive play (p<0,05), in which girls spent more time than boys.
The obtained data show the main characteristics of spontaneous play of children at an early age and can contribute to the design of preschool education programs.
