Abstract

Rana intervencija u djetinjstvu usluga je koja se pruža djeci s razvojnim teškoćama u ranoj i predškolskoj dobi. Roditelji i stručnjaci glavni su nosioci rane intervencije koji za cilj imaju unapređenje djetetovog razvoja. Rana intervencija kao svoje polazište uzima činjenicu kako su rane godine života jedinstveni period za mogućnost utjecaja na djetetov razvoj s dugoročnim učincima. Rana intervencija onemogućava nastanak dodatnih odstupanja, ublažava postojeća odstupanja, povećava funkcionalnost te pruža podršku obitelji kroz edukaciju i savjetovanje s ciljem poboljšanja kvalitete života za dijete i obitelj. Usluge rane intervencije osmišljene su s ciljem da podržavaju razvoj novorođenčadi i djece s neurorizikom te kako bi ojačale obitelji u svrhu poticanja djetetovog razvoja. Uloga pružatelja usluga je podučiti roditelje kako da njihova djeca ostvare svoj puni potencijal. Smisao toga proizlazi iz činjenice da je obitelj ta koja u okviru svakodnevnih aktivnosti pruža najveći broj mogućnosti za poticanje djetetovog razvoja. U skladu s tim načelima, rana intervencija na daljinu koristi se za pružanje usluga sve većem broju djece. Tehnološki procvat otvorio je vrata nekim novim načinima stupanja u interakciju, razmjenu informacija te rad općenito. Kao i mnogi drugi, stručnjaci iz područja rane intervencije prepoznali su prednosti provođenja usluga i pružanje podrške na daljinu. Neke druge okolnosti, svjetskih razmjera, poput pandemije COVID-19, dovele su do dodatnog povećanja korištenja tehnologije. Obzirom da je rad nastao za vrijeme pandemije bolesti COVID-19 uzrokovane virusom SARS-CoV-2 u radu se posebno posvetilo upravo specifičnostima provedbe rane intervencije na daljinu. Cilj ovog rada bio je izraditi primjer edukacijsko-rehabilitacijskog programa temeljem instrumenta procjene te istražiti mogućnost provedbe programa rane intervencije na daljinu u svijetu i Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

Early childhood intervention is a service provided to children with developmental disabilities in early and preschool age. Parents and experts are the main carriers of early intervention whose goal is to improve the child's development. As its starting point, early intervention takes the fact that the early years of life are a unique period for the possibility of influencing a child’s development with long-term effects. Early intervention prevents the occurrence of additional deviations, alleviates existing deviations, increases functionality and provides family support through education and counseling with the aim of improving the quality of life for the child and the family. Early intervention services are produced to support the development of infants and children with neurorisks and to strengthen families in order to encourage child development. The role of service providers is to teach parents how to make their children reach their full potential. The meaning of this derives from the fact that it is the family that, within the framework of daily activities, provides the greatest number of opportunities to encourage the child's development. In line with these principles, early remote intervention is being used to provide services to a growing number of children. The technological growth has opened the door to some new methods of interacting, exchanging information, and working in general. Like many others, early intervention experts recognized the benefits of providing services and providing remote support. Some other global circumstances, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, have led to a further increase in the use of technology. Considering that the thesis was formulated during the pandemic of the COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the paper paid special attention to the specifics of the implementation of an early remote intervention. The aim of this thesis was to develop an example of an educational rehabilitation program that is based on an assessment instrument as well as to explore the possibility of implementing an early distance intervention program in the world and in Croatia.
