Abstract

Kao što odražava svaku emociju, ljudski glas također i odražava stres kojeg netko proživljava, a
njegovi negativni učinci mogu ostaviti veliki trag na glasu. Bilo da se radi o akutnom ili kroničnom
stresu, pod njegovim prisustvom dolazi do promjena u glasu koje mogu dovesti čak do poremećaja
glasa. Psihogena disfonija, paradoksalno gibanje glasnica, mišićna tenzijska disfonija, vokalni
noduli te spastična disfonija poremećaji su glasa koji u svojoj etiologiji često imaju prisutan stres.
Razvitkom tehnologije akustička analiza omogućuje objektivizaciju glasa odnosno uočavanje
parametara koji se mijenjaju u stresu poput fundamentalne frekvencije čiji porast bilježimo kod
osoba pod stresom. Budući da je stres odgovor organizma na vanjske podražaje, to znači da se na
njega u nekoj mjeri može djelovati. Tehnika dijafragmalnog disanja jedna je od najprepoznatijih
te najučinkovitijih tehnika kojom pojedinac u trenutku može smanjiti razinu stresa. Osim učinka
opuštanja ova tehnika pozitivno djeluje i na samu kvalitetu glasa budući da je pravilno disanje
osnova dobrog glasa. Kao dio prevencije poremećaja glasa bitno je širiti svjesnost i javnosti i
stručnjaka o učincima samog stresa na glas te o njegovoj multidimenzionalnosti koja može utjecati
na ishode glasovne rehabilitacije.
Cilj ovog rada je pregledom dosadašnjih istraživanja odgovoriti na pitanja poput koliku ulogu sam
stres ima u etiologiji poremećaja glasa, kako on utječe na sam glas, u podlozi kojih poremećaja ga
najčešće pronalazimo te koje su tehnike za smanjenje simptoma stresa u glasu.

Abstract (english)

As it reflects every emotion, the human voice also reflects the stress that someone has been
experiencing and its negative effects can leave a big mark on the voice. Whether it is acute or
chronic stress, under its presence there is a change in the voice that can even lead to voice disorders.
Psychogenic dysphonia, paradoxical vocal cords movement of the, muscle tension dysphonia,
vocal nodules and spastic dysphonia are voice disorders that often have stress in their etiology.
With the development of technology, acoustic analysis enables the objectification of the voice, ie
the observation of parameters that change in stress, such as the fundamental frequency whose
increase is recorded in a person under stress. Because stress is a response to external stimuli, it
means that it can be acted upon to some extent. The diaphragmatic breathing technique is one of
the most recognized and effective techniques by which an individual can reduce stress levels in an
instant. In addition to the relaxation effect, this technique has a positive effect on the quality of the
voice itself since proper breathing is the basis of a good voice. As part of the prevention of voice
disorders, it is important to raise awareness both the public and experts about the effects of stress
on the voice and its multidimensionality which can affect the outcomes of voice rehabilitation.
The aim of this thesis is to review previous studies to answer questions such as the role of stress
itself in the etiology of voice disorders, how it affects the voice itself, the underpinnings of which
disorders we most often find, what are the techniques to reduce stress symptoms in the voice.
