| Abstract | Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi razinu ugodnih i neugodnih afekata, radne angažiranosti te
uznemirenosti različitim aspektima pandemije koronavirusa te povezanost ovih konstrukata za
vrijeme prvog vala pandemije koronavirusa na uzorku hrvatskih socijalnih pedagoga.
Podaci koji su korišteni u ovom radu prikupljeni su u sklopu istraživanja Otpornost stručnjaka
različitih profesija, online putem Lime Survey-a tijekom svibnja, lipnja i srpnja 2020. godine.
Obuhvaćen je uzorak od N=139 socijalnih pedagoga. Za prikupljanje podataka korištena su 3
upitnika: prilagođena verzija PANAS-X skale (Watson i Clark, 1994) – Mjere afektivnih
doživljaja, zatim skraćena verzija Utrecht skale radne angažiranosti (Schaufeli i Bakker, 2003)
te Upitnik vezan uz životne i radne okolnosti te stres izazvan pandemijom koronavirusa i
potresom (kreiran za potrebe ovog istraživanja). Pri obradi podataka korištene su metode
deskriptivne statistike (aritmetička sredina, standardna devijacija, frekvencije odgovora) te
Spearmanov koeficijent korelacije.
Rezultati pokazuju da su sudionici vrlo često doživljavali ugodne afekte te su najčešće bili
zainteresirani (79,8%) i sretni (73,4%), a najrjeđe oduševljeni (30,7%). Što se tiče neugodnih
afekata, oni su općenito doživljavani rjeđe nego ugodni afekti no najčešće su sudionici bili
zabrinuti (43,6%) i nervozni (27,4%), a najrjeđe uplašeni (9,6%). Rezultati također pokazuju
da su sudionici bili visoko radno angažirani te da su bili srednje do umjereno uznemireni
različitim aspektima pandemije koronavirusa od čega su najviše (34,4%) bili uznemireni
mogućnošću da se virusom COVID-19 zarazi njima netko blizak. Što se tiče međusobne
povezanosti ovih konstrukata, utvrđena je statistički značajna umjerena pozitivna povezanost
između radne angažiranosti i ugodnih afekata (r=.511; p<0.05) te statistički značajna umjerena
negativna povezanost između radne angažiranosti i neugodnih afekata (r=-.318; p<0.05).
Nadalje, utvrđene su statistički značajne niske negativne povezanosti između radne
angažiranosti i: uznemirenosti uzrokovane ograničenjem kretanja zbog pandemije virusa
COVID-19 (r=-.234; p<0.05), uznemirenosti uzrokovane ograničenjem druženja zbog
pandemije COVID-19 (r=-.204; p<0.05), uznemirenosti radi mogućnosti gubitka posla (r=.202;
p<0.05). Nadalje, utvrđena je statistički značajna umjerena negativna povezanost između
ugodnih afekata i uznemirenosti ograničenjem kretanja (r=-.300; p<0.01) te statistički značajna
niska negativna povezanost između ugodnih afekata i: uznemirenosti uzrokovane ograničenjem
druženja (r=-.194; p<0.05), uznemirenosti radi mogućih financijskih poteškoća uzrokovanih
pandemijom COVID-19 (r=-.228; p<0.05) te uznemirenosti radi mogućnosti povećanja
poteškoća na poslu (r=-.192; p<0.05). Zaključno, rezultati pokazuju statistički značajne niske
pozitivne povezanosti između neugodnih afekata i uznemirenosti ograničenjem kretanja
(r=.217; p<0.05) te uznemirenosti zbog povećanja poteškoća na poslu (r=.218; p<0.05). |
| Abstract (english) | The main goal of this paper is to determine the level of positive and negative affect, work
engagement and anxiety in various aspects of the coronavirus pandemic and the correlation
between these constructs during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic among Croatian
social pedagogues.
The data obtained in this paper were collected as part of the research Resilience of professionals
of various professions online, through Lime Survey during the May, June, and July of 2020. A
sample of N=139 social pedagogues was included. The instrument consisted of three
questionnaires: an adapted version of the PANAS-X scale (Watson and Clark, 1994) –
Measures of affective experiences, then an abbreviated version of the Utrecht scale of work
engagement (Schaufeli and Bakker, 2003) and a Questionnaire related to living and working
conditions and stress caused by a coronavirus pandemic and earthquake (designed for the
purpose of this research). Data were analyzed via descriptive statistics (arithmetic mean,
standard deviation, response frequencies) and Spearman's correlation coefficient.
The results show that participants very often had positive affective experiences and were most
often interested (79.8%) and happy (73.4%), and least often enthusiastic (30.7%). Regarding
negative affects, they were generally experienced less often than positive affects, but most often
the participants were worried (43.6%) and nervous (27.4%), and least often scared (9.6%). The
results also show that participants were highly work engaged and were moderately disturbed
by various aspects of the coronavirus pandemic, of which the most (34.4%) were anxious about
the possibility of someone close to them being infected with the COVID-19 virus. Regarding
the correlation of these constructs, a statistically significant moderate positive correlation
between work engagement and positive affects (r = .511; p <0.05) and a statistically significant
moderate negative correlation between work engagement and negative affects were found (r =
-. 318; p <0.05). Furthermore, a statistically significant low negative correlation was found
between work engagement and: anxiety caused by restricted movement due to the COVID-19
pandemic (r = -. 234; p <0.05), anxiety caused by limited socializing due to the COVID-19
pandemic (r = -. 204; p <0.05), anxiety due to the possibility of losing a job (r = .202; p <0.05).
Furthermore, a statistically significant moderate negative correlation was found between
positive affects and anxiety caused by restricted movement (r = -. 300; p <0.01) and a
statistically significant low negative correlation between positive affects and: anxiety caused
by limited socializing (r = -. 194; p <0.05), anxiety due to possible financial difficulties caused
by the COVID-19 pandemic (r = -. 228; p <0.05) and anxiety due to the possibility of increasing
difficulties at work (r = -. 192; p <0.05). Lastly, the results show a statistically significant low
positive correlation between negative affects and anxiety caused by restricted movement (r =
.217; p <0.05) and anxiety caused by increased difficulties at work (r = .218; p <0.05). |
