Abstract

Roditeljstvo predstavlja jednu od najtežih i najzahtjevnijih uloga, a posebice roditeljstvo
djeteta s poremećajem iz spektra autizma (PSA). Znanstveno je dokazano kako roditelji djece
s PSA imaju više razine stresa od roditelja djece urednog razvoja te roditelja djece s ostalim
razvojnim teškoćama. Visoke razine stresa mogu značajno ugroziti odnos roditelj - dijete i
partnerske odnose.
Prihvaćanje činjenice da dijete ima cjeloživotni razvojni poremećaj je stresno i izazovno za
bilo koju obitelj te je utvrđeno da se neke obitelji lakše adaptiraju i prilagođavaju od drugih te
da njihova otpornost proizlazi iz fleksibilnih karakteristika i prihvaćanja življenja s
neizvjesnošću. Otporni roditelji djeteta s PSA nastoje razviti potrebne vještine za suočavanje s
atipičnim ponašanjem svog djeteta. Stoga je cilj ovog rada pružanje strukturiranog pregleda
intervencija jačanja otpornosti roditelja djece s PSA te izdvajanje ključnih čimbenika
smanjenja stresa i povećanja otpornosti roditelja djece s PSA temeljem uvida u znanstvene
radove u razdoblju od 2016. do 2021. Za potrebe izrade specijalističkog rada analizirana su
dostupna znanstvena istraživanja u bazama: Science Direct, JSTOR, Scopus, Taylor and
Francis, Springer Link,Google Scholar, EBSCO,Web of Science, Hrčak i Dabar prema
ključnim riječima na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku. Rezultati analize znanstvenih radova su
pokazali da je edukacija roditelja o PSA i popratnim teškoćama te prikladno odgovaranje na
djetetovo izazovno ponašanje temelj intervencijskih programa. Isto tako konstrukti koji bi
trebali biti ukomponirani u intervencije su: psihoedukacija, tehnike otpuštanja i relaksacije te
alati za vještine roditeljstva.

Abstract (english)

Parenting is one of the most difficult and demanding roles, especially parenting a child with
autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It has been scientifically proven that parents of children
with ASD have higher levels of stress than parents of normally developing children and
parents of children with other developmental disabilities. High levels of stress can
significantly compromise the parent - child relationship and marital relationships.
Accepting the fact that a child has a lifelong developmental disorder is stressful and
challenging for any family and it has been established that some families adapt and adjust
more easily than others also that their resilience stems from flexible characteristics and
acceptance of living with uncertainty. Resilient parents of a child with ASD strive to develop
the necessary skills to cope with their child's atypical behavior. Therefore, the aim of this
study is to provide a structured review of interventions to strengthen the resilience of parents
of children with ASD and to highlight key factors in reducing stress and increasing the
resilience of parents of children with ASD based on insights into scientific works in the period
from 2016 to 2021. For the purposes of creating a specialist paper, available scientific
research in databases: Science Direct, JSTOR, Scopus, Taylor and Francis, Springer Link,
Google Scholar, EBSCO, Web of Science, Hrčak and Dabar according to keywords in
Croatian and English. The results of the analysis of scientific papers showed that the
education of parents about ASD and accompanying difficulties and appropriate response to
the child's challenging behavior is the basis of intervention programs. Likewise, the constructs
that should be incorporated into the interventions are: psychoeducation, release and relaxation
techniques and also tools for parenting skills.
