Abstract

Asistivna tehnologija (AT) igra ključnu ulogu u podržavanju djece s cerebralnom paralizom (CP) u školskom okruženju, omogućavajući im da prevladaju izazove vezane uz mobilnost, komunikaciju i motoričke vještine. Upotreba električnih invalidskih kolica, uređaja za praćenje pogleda i komunikacijskih ploča značajno poboljšava njihovu neovisnost i sposobnost sudjelovanja u obrazovnim i socijalnim aktivnostima. Unatoč značajnim prednostima, korištenje AT-a suočava se s izazovima, uključujući potrebu za kontinuiranom podrškom roditelja i učitelja te prilagodbu tehnologije individualnim potrebama djece. Uz adekvatnu podršku i prilagodbu, AT može značajno unaprijediti obrazovna iskustva i kvalitetu života djece s CP-om.
U ovom radu će se istražiti kako različiti oblici AT-a utječu na sudjelovanje djece s CP-om u školskim aktivnostima te izazove s kojima se suočavaju korisnici, učitelji i roditelji. Cilj je pružiti sveobuhvatan pregled postojećih istraživanja i preporuke za buduću praksu kako bi se maksimizirala učinkovitost i integracija AT-a u obrazovni sustav.

Abstract (english)

Assistive technology (AT) plays a key role in supporting children with cerebral palsy (CP) in the school environment, enabling them to overcome challenges related to mobility, communication and motor skills. The use of electric wheelchairs, eye tracking devices (EGAT) and communication boards significantly improves their independence and ability to participate in educational and social activities. Despite the significant advantages, the use of AT faces challenges, including the need for continuous support from parents and teachers and adapting the technology to the individual needs of children. With adequate support and adaptation, AT can significantly improve the educational experiences and quality of life of children with CP.
This paper will investigate how different forms of AT affect the participation of children with CP in school activities and the challenges faced by users, teachers and parents. The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of existing research and recommendations for future practice to maximize the effectiveness and integration of AT into the education system.
