Abstract
Cilj istraživanja je bio ispitati i utvrditi postoji li podrška roditeljstvu osoba s motoričkim poremećajima te u kojoj mjeri osobe imaju potrebu za podrškom. Istraživanje je provedeno pomoću anketnog upitnika kreiranog za ovo istraživanje. Osim toga, ovim istraživanjem nastojalo se ispitati reakcije okoline, obitelji te kako je ona povezana sa komunikacijom sa nastavnicima/odgajateljima djeteta i procjenom okoline o roditeljskoj kompetentnosti. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 32 roditelja sa područja cijele Hrvatske. Rezultati su pokazali da su roditelji s kongenitalnim invaliditetom statistički značajno nezadovoljniji upoznavanjem sa drugim roditeljima, kvalitetom informacija o odgoju te procjenom okoline o roditeljskoj kompetentnosti. Roditelji koji su imali potrebu za nekim oblikom podrške roditeljstvu su statistički nezadovoljniji svojom mogućnošću određivanja granica u odgoju, upoznavanjem s drugim roditeljima, kvalitetom dostupnih informacija te su nezadovoljniji procjenom okoline o njihovoj roditeljskoj kompetentnosti od roditelja koji smatraju da im nije potrebna podrška u roditeljskoj ulozi.

Parallel abstract (English)
The main aim of this research is to examine and to identify existance of parent support for parents with phisical disabilities and also to ascertain is there any need for support among those parents. Additionally, aims or the research were to examine reactions of the parents environment, closer family and to identify connections with parent-teacher communication, evaluation of the environment about parenting competence. The 32 parents participated in the study and their opinion were assessed using the questionnaire created especially for parents with physical disabilities. The resaults have shown that parents with congenital disability are statistically significant dissatisfied with meeting other parents, quality of informations about child raising and evaluation of the environment about their parenting competence. Parents who have shown the need for some form of support to their parenting role are statistically significant dissatisfied with their ability to set limits in raising their child, meeting other parents, quality of informations about child raising. They are also more dissatisfied with evaluation of the environment about their parenting competence in comparison to parents who declined the need for support in parentign role.
