Abstract

Mucanje je poremećaj tečnosti govora za koji ne postoji jedinstvena definicija. Zbog svoje višedimenzionalnosti se različito očituje kod svakog pojedinca te postoji široki spektar uzroka, simptoma (govornih i negovornih) te vrsta terapija. Iako se javlja kod djece i odraslih, češći je u dječjoj dobi. Zbog toga je bitno informirati o mucanju djecu koja ne mucaju, kako bi mogla bolje razumjeti i prihvatiti svoje vršnjake koji mucaju. Danas nisu dostupna brojna istraživanja na ovu temu, stoga je provedeno ovo istraživanje kako bi se ispitala dječja informiranost, odnosno način na koji se može utjecati na njezin porast. Glavni cilj bio je ispitati postoji li razlika u informiranosti o mucanju kod djece koja su prošla neku vrstu edukacije, tj. kojima je predstavljena slikovnica o mucanju i kod djece kojima nije. Samim time ispitivao se i učinak same slikovnice, odnosno dobit i dugoročna dobit od njezina sadržaja. Za potrebe ovog istraživanja korištena je slikovnica Lolin p-prvi dan škole te je kreiran Upitnik o informiranosti djece o mucanju koji je sadržavao 21 česticu. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 74 ispitanika koji su pohađali 4. razred osnovne škole. Ispitanici su upitnik rješavali 3 puta, uz određeni vremenski odmak (10 dana prije predstavljanja slikovnice- predtest, 10 dana poslije slikovnice-posttest te 30 dana poslije slikovnice- follow up) te se proučavala razlika rezultata posttesta i predtesta te follow up-a i predtesta. Prikupljeni podatci obrađeni su deskriptivnom analizom i parametrijskim testom u računalnom programu IBM SPSS Statistics. Rezultati su pokazali da postoji statistički značajna razlika u dobiti i dugoročnoj dobiti u informiranosti između grupe djece koja su bila izložena intervenciji sa slikovnicom i grupe djece koja nisu. Točnije, slikovnica je značajno utjecala na povećanje dječje informiranosti o mucanju.

Abstract (english)

Stuttering is a speech fluency disorder for which there is no one, unique definition. Due to its multidimensionality, it manifests for each person differently and there is a wide spectrum of causes, symptoms (verbal and non-verbal) and types of therapy. Although it occurs in children and adults, it is more common in children. This is why it is important to inform children who do not stutter about stuttering, so that they can better understand and accept their peers who stutter. Currently there are not many available studies about this topic. Therefore, this research was created in order to examine current information available to children about stuttering and ways in which it can be increased. The main objective was to examine whether there is a difference in children's information about stuttering when there is education i.e. a difference between children who have listened to a story about stuttering and those who have not. In addition, the overall effect of the picture book, both short-term and long-term benefits, was examined. For the purposes of this research, Lola's f-first day of school picture book was used and a Questionnaire for children with 21 items about stuttering was created. 74 respondents who attended the 4th grade of elementary school participated in this research. The respondents solved the Questionnaire 3 times, with a certain time lag (i.e Pre-Test: 10 days before the presentation of the picture book, Post-Test: 10 days after the picture book, and Follow-Up: 30 days after the picture book) and the difference between the results of the posttest and pretest and the follow up and pretest was observed. The collected data was processed by descriptive analysis and parametric test in the computer program IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed that there is a statistically significant difference in the short-term and long-term benefit in information between the group of children who were exposed to the intervention with the picture book and the group of children who were not. More specifically, the picture book had a significant impact on increasing children's information about stuttering.
