Varijable sagorijevanja, psihološke dobrobiti, zahtjeva i resursa dostupnih socijalnim pedagozima ispitane su kroz upitničku bateriju sastavljenu od sljedećih instrumenata: upitnik sociodemografskih podataka, Indeks psihološke dobrobiti Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (The World Health Organization – Five Well-Being Index; WHO, 2015), Oldenburški upitnik sagorijevanja (The Oldenburg Burnout Inventory; Demerouti i Bakker, 2008), Skala depresije, anksioznosti i stresa (DASS 21; Lovibond i Lovibond; 1995) i Kopenhaški psihosocijalni upitnik (The Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire III; International COPSOQ Network, 2019).
Abstract (english) Nowadays, stress and its consequences on the individual are being talked about more and more often. It is represented in different areas of life such as the work and school environment, and affects the individual as well as society on a daily basis. Lazarus (1975) explains stress as a set of emotional, physical and/or behavioral reactions that occur when we evaluate an event as stressful. It is important to define the concept of professional stress which is a frequently mentioned topic in professional and scientific work. It is a subject of many researches and discussions, and is considered that it arises as a result of a mismatch between the requirements related to work and the environment (Buljubašić, 2015). The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (1998) describes the state of stress as harmful physical, psychological and behavioral reactions to situations in which the demands of the job exceed abilities, capabilities and needs of the worker. When it comes to examining job requirements and resources available to social pedagogues, there is a lack of research in that area, which presents a problem when assesing the needs of social pedagogues in different workplaces. In order to look into the needs of social pedagogues and take measures to reduce the consequences of stress, as well as its occurence in the first place, it is necessary to explore in which institutions social pedagogues experience higher levels of stress, in which working conditions they perform their work assignments and what resources are available to them. That is why the aim of this paper is to explore the relationship between job demands and resources as well as the psychological wellbeing of social pedagogues employed in different fields of work within the framework of the Job Demands-Resources Model (Demerouti, 2001). This paper is about testing the Job Demands-Resources Model among social pedagogues and by that, insight was gained into job demands and resources as well as psychological well-being and burnout. Also, it has been proven that there is a correlation between burnout, psychological well-being, job demands and resources which will be explained in detail in the rest of the paper. In addition, the existence of differences in resources and burnout between the fields of social welfare and eduacation, and social welfare and justice has been proven. The variables of burnout, psychological well-being, job demands and resources will be examined through a questionnaire of the following instruments: Questionnaire of sociodemographic data; Index of psychological wellbeing of the World Health Organization (Five Wellbeing Index, 2015; Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (Demerouti and Bakker, 2008); Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (Lovibond and Lovibond, 1995); The Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire III (International COPSOQ Network, 2019).
