Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je odgovoriti na tri ključna pitanja: koje odnose djeca i mladi u alternativnoj skrbi vide kao bliske u različitim kontekstima svog života (obitelj, škola, ustanova, zajednica), kako opisuju značaj tih odnosa te postoje li razlike u doživljaju bliskih odnosa između djevojčica i dječaka. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo osmero djece smještene u Centar za djecu Zagreb, u dobi od 12 do 14 godina. Korištena je kvalitativna metodologija, uključujući fokus grupu, individualne intervjue te tri grupne radionice u kojima su primijenjene komplementarne metode poput kreativnih ekspresivnih tehnika i interaktivnih igara. Podaci su analizirani kvalitativnom analizom, što je omogućilo dublje razumijevanje njihovih iskustava i percepcija bliskih odnosa. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da djeca i mladi najviše cijene bliske odnose unutar obitelji, posebno s roditeljima, koji im pružaju osjećaj pripadnosti i emocionalne podrške. Također su istaknuli važnost odnosa s prijateljima, odgajateljima i učiteljima. Međutim, neki sudionici su izrazili nedostatak bliskih prijateljskih odnosa unutar ustanove. Analiza nije pokazala specifične razlike u doživljaju bliskih odnosa između djevojčica i dječaka, što govori u prilog da ljubav, briga, duhovitost i podrška imaju univerzalnu vrijednost za sve sudionike, bez obzira na spol. Ova saznanja naglašavaju potrebu za razvojem i primjenom programa koji olakšavaju kontakte između djece u alternativnoj skrbi i njihovih bioloških obitelji. Također, preporučuje se organiziranje aktivnosti koje potiču timski rad, međusobno razumijevanje i socioemocionalnu regulaciju kako bi se poboljšalo emocionalno blagostanje djece te utjecalo na poboljšanje vršnjačkih odnosa unutar ustanove. Ovo istraživanje može doprinijeti boljem razumijevanju potreba djece u alternativnoj skrbi i pomoći u oblikovanju učinkovitijih pristupa i intervencija u području njihove skrbi i razvoja. Less

The aim of this research was to address three key questions: which relationships do children and youth in alternative care perceive as close in different contexts of their lives (family, school, institution, community), how do they describe the significance of these relationships, also are there differences in the perception of close relationships between girls and boys. The study involved eight children aged 12 to 14 years, placed in the Children's Center Zagreb. A qualitative methodology was used, including focus group, individual interviews, and three group workshops where complementary methods such as creative expressive techniques and interactive games were applied. Data were analyzed qualitatively, allowing for a deeper understanding of their experiences and perceptions of close relationships. The results showed that children and adolescents value close relationships with the family the most, especially with parents, as these provide a sense of belonging and emotional support. They also highlighted the importance of relationships with friends, caregivers, and teachers. However, some participants expressed a lack of close friendships with peers in the institution. The analysis did not reveal significant differences in the perception of close relationships between girls and boys, suggesting that love, care, humor, and support have universal value for all participants, regardless of gender. These findings emphasize the need to develop and implement programs that facilitate contact between children in alternative care and their biological families. Additionally, it is recommended to organize activities that promote teamwork, mutual understanding, and socio-emotional regulation to improve the emotional well-being of children and make stronger peer relationships within the institution.
