Abstract
Slušno procesiranje je sposobnost da slušamo, razumijemo i odgovaramo na informacije koje čujemo kroz svoje slušne kanale. Poremećaj slušnog procesiranja ometa mozak u obradi govornog jezika što predstavlja teškoće djetetu u obradi verbalnih uputa i zanemarivanju pozadinske buke. U ovom istraživanju cilj je bio primijeniti Test govora u buci kod djece starije vrtićke dobi, kako bi se utvrdilo postoji li povezanost izmeĎu rezultata za lijevo i desno uho. U ovom istraživanju je sudjelovalo 114-ero djece dobnog raspona od 5;05 do 6;06 mjeseci. Rezultati ovog istraživanja pokazali su da ne postoji statistički značajna razlika izmeĎu spolova kod djece starije vrtićke dobi, te da postoji značajna povezanost izmeĎu rezultata za lijevo i desno uho na Testu govora u buci.

Auditory processing is the ability to hear, understand and respond to information we hear through our ear canals. Auditory processing disorder interferes with our brain while processing speech which represents a difficulty to a child while processing verbal instructions as well as reducing and ignoring background noises. The main aim of this research was to use speech-in-noise test among older preschoolers aged form 5;05 to 6;06 to determine if there is connection between results for left and right ear. There were 114 participants in this research. The results have shown that there is no statistically significant difference between genders in this among older preschoolers population, but there is statistically significant connection between results for left and right ear on speech-in-noise test.
