Abstract
U školskom okruženju djeluje cijeli niz rizičnih i zaštitnih čimbenika koji utječu na školsko i socijalno funkcioniranje djeteta ili mlade osobe. Privrženost školi snažan je zaštitni čimbenik za razvoj rizičnih ponašanja, a može se razmatrati kroz različite oblike odnosa koje učenik u školi ostvaruje. S druge strane, školski je neuspjeh rizični čimbenik koji često pridonosi razvoju problema u ponašanju, a napuštanje školovanja koje se javlja kao posljedica neuspjeha za sobom nosi brojne ekonomske, socijalne i osobne probleme. Cilj istraživanja prikazanog u ovom radu utvrđivanje je razlika u privrženosti školi kod učenika srednjih škola s obzirom na neke njihove individualne karakteristike kao što su spol, dob, vrsta škole koju pohađaju, njihov školski uspjeh te razina uključenosti u rizična ponašanja. Istraživanje je provedeno na prigodnom uzorku od 232 učenika dviju srednjih strukovnih škola i jedne gimnazije u Zagrebu. Uzorak čini 37,1% učenika te 62,9% učenica. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da djevojke iskazuju višu razinu privrženosti školi od mladića, da su stariji učenici manje privrženi školi od mlađih te da su učenici boljeg školskog uspjeha privrženiji školi od učenika nešto slabijeg školskog uspjeha. Isto tako, pokazalo se da su učenici gimnazije u nešto većoj mjeri privrženi školi od učenika strukovnih škola te da se oni učenici koji pokazuju nižu privrženost školi u većoj mjeri uključuju u rizična ponašanja. Dobiveni rezultati u skladu su s brojnim inozemnim i domaćim istraživanjima te potvrđuju zaštitnu ulogu privrženosti školi kao značajnog čimbenika u prevenciji rizičnih ponašanja.

There is a whole series of risk and protective factors in the school environment that influence the school and social functioning of children and the youth. School attachment is a strong protective factor against the development of risk behavior and it can be observed in the various types of relationships a pupil develops in school. On the other hand, school failure is a risk factor that often contributes to the development of behavioral problems, and dropping out of school as a result of a feeling of personal failure leads to numerous economic, social and personal problems. The aim of the research presented in this study is to determine the differences in the school attachment of secondary school pupils with respect to some of their individual characteristics such as gender, age, school type, school achievement and the level of involvement in risk behaviors. The research was carried out on an appropriate sample of 232 pupils from two secondary vocational schools and one grammar school in Zagreb. The sample was made up of 37,1% male and 62,9% female pupils. The research results show that girls demonstrate a higher level of school attachment than boys, that older pupils are less attached to school than the younger ones and that pupils with better school achievement are more attached to school than those with poorer achievement. Furthermore, it was discovered that grammar school pupils are somewhat more attached to school than those from vocational schools and that pupils who demonstrate a lower level of school attachment are more likely to engage in risk behaviors. The obtained results correspond to numerous foreign and domestic studies and prove that the protective role of school attachment is a significant factor in the prevention of risk behaviors.
