Abstract
Deficiti socijalnog funkcioniranja djece s teškoćama stavljaju ih u nepovoljan socijalan položaj u odnosu na njihove vršnjake sa i bez teškoća. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je unaprijediti socijalnu interakciju djece s IT i PAS u vršnjačkom okruženju u područjima komunikacije, svijesti o sebi i drugima, sklonosti nasilnom ponašanju i rješavanju socijalnih problema, primjenom programa radionica. Sudionici istraživanja su učenici (N=20), oba spola, dob ispitanika je od 12 do 21 godine, a školuju po posebnom programu. Radionice su se održavale jednom tjedno tijekom cijele školske godine, odnosno 9 mjeseci. Vještine socijalne interakcije procjenjivale su se, prije i nakon provođenja Programa, Skalom vršnjačke interakcije izrađenom za potrebe ovog istraživanja. Zbog provjere učinkovitosti Programa, na Skali je procijenjena i kontrolna skupina koja nije sudjelovala u radionicama. Zbog boljeg uvida u rezultate provedeni su intervjui sa edukacijskim rehabilitatoricama uključenima u program. U kvantitativnom dijelu istraživanja nakon provedenog programa dobiveni su statistički značajno bolji rezultati u području svijesti o sebi i drugima i području rješavanja socijalnih problema. Da je tome pridonio upravo program poticanja socijalnih interakcija potvrđuje činjenica da statistička obrada rezultata kontrolne grupe nije pokazivala značajne razlike u inicijalnoj i finalnoj procjeni. Eksperimentalna skupina djece s IT i PAS povećala je učestalost poželjnih i učinkovitih socijalnih interakcija, a ona nepoželjna i neučinkovita su se smanjila. Ovakvi rezultati ukazuju na posljedično povećanje razine kompetentnosti kod učenika kroz poboljšanje njihovih vještina interkacije. Kvalitativni dio istraživanja također govori o napretku u emocionalnim, bihevioralnim i kognitivnim komponetama koje čine vršnjačku socijalnu kompetenciju. Kvalitativno je napredak uočen u svim područjima Programa, a sam Program sa svojim obilježjima postao preporuka za daljnji rad u poticanju socijalnih interkacija. Sveukupno se Program radionica pokazao kao uspješan netradicionalni pristup poticanja socijalnih interakcija kod djece s teškoćama.

Social interaction deficit in children with disability are putting them in a bad position considering their peers with and without disability. The aim of this reasearch was to enhance social interaction of children with intellectual disability and autistic spetrum disorder, through a workshop programe. This occured in a surrounding with peers in areas such as communication, self-awareness, tendency to violent behaviour and social problem solving. Participants of the reasearch were students (N=20) of special program school, both gender, aged from 12 to 21 years. Students had one workshop a week during the whole school year, precisely nine months. Social interaction skills were evaluated before and after the programe, using Peer-interaction scale, made for the purposes of this reasearch. To see if the program was efficient, a control group, that didin't papticipated in the workshops, was also evaluated. To gain even more perspective, interviews with educational rehabilitators in the program were conducted. In a quantitative analysis after the program was conducted there have been significantly better results for experimental group in the area of self-awareness, awareness of others and social problem solving. We can conclude that this happend due to the programe because control group evaluations initialy and finaly didn't show any significant improvement in the results. Experimental group of children with ID and ASD increased the frequency of efficient and acceptable social interactions, and decreased all that are not. This results consequently indicate an increased level of competence throuh their enhancement od interaction skills. Qualitative analysis indicates progress in emotional, bihevioural and cognitive components of peer-related social competence. This analysis also showed progress in all program areas and made the program and it's charachteristics a recommendation in this fiel of work. Workshop program turn out to be a very succesful untradicional tool for promotion of social interaction in children with disability.
