Abstract

Cilj ovog preglednog rada bio je prikazati dostupna znanstvena istraživanja koja ispituju utjecaj muzikoterapije na kvalitetu života osoba, djece i odraslih, s poremećajem pažnje i hiperaktivnosti. U tu svrhu korištene su brojne baze podataka, kao što je Springer Link baza, Web of Science, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Oxford Journals te Google Scholar. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako slušanje glazbe, ritam u glazbi, bijeli šum, različite aktivnosti u sklopu individualne ili grupne muzikoterapije imaju veliki značaj za različite aspekte života osoba s ADHD-om. Tako navedeni elementi glazbe i aktivnosti u kojima se ona koristi, u osoba s ADHD-om dovode do poboljšanja pažnje i pamćenja, smanjenja simptoma impulzivnosti i hiperaktivnosti, unapređenja motoričkih, socijalnih i komunikacijskih vještina, smanjenja stresa i osjećaja depresivnosti, smanjenja agresivnosti i nepoželjnih oblika ponašanja, bolje vremenske organizacije, povećanja empatije te povećanja samopouzdanja i poboljšanja slike o sebi. Unatoč brojnim dobrobitima muzikoterapije za osobe s ADHD-om, potrebna su daljnja istraživanja koja bi uključila odrasle osobe s ADHD-om te istraživanja u kojima će naglasak biti stavljen na stavove i osobna iskustva samih osoba s ADHD-om.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this review paper was to present available scientific research that investigate effect of music therapy on quality of life of people with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In order to do that, numerous databases such as Springer Link, Web of Science, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Oxford Journals and Google Scholar have been used. The results have shown that listening to music, music rhythm, white noise and various activities included in individual or group music therapy have great significance for different aspects of life in people with ADHD. It has been shown that music itself and its variant elements and activities that includes, contribute to the improvement of attention and memory, decrease hyperactivity and impuslivity, improve motor, social and communication skills and reduce stress and sense of depresivnes and aggressive and maladaptive behaviours. As well, music therapy can lead to better time organization skills, increase of empathy, confidence and self-esteem and improvement in self-image. Despite numerous benefits of music therapy for people with ADHD, future research that will include, not only children and adolescents, but also adults with ADHD, and their personal perspective and experience is needed.
